Gad Berger

Gad is a full stack developer on the order management team at Jet.com. His current focus is on a workflow engine that can be used across projects within the order management group. Prior to Jet, Gad worked in Gov Tech to help improve city parking. He also spent his first decade in programming working for Roxio and Technicolor where he helped build DVD players and writers, as well as a myriad of streaming solutions with the H.264 video codec. On his free time, Gad likes to get outdoors with his wife and daughter, play classical guitar, and write silly programs with F# and Python.

Jonnie Hallman is a freelance web designer/dev based in Brooklyn, NY. He earns a living building fancy scrolly websites for clients including Casper, Dropbox, Etsy, and FiftyThree. He has worked in the video game industry, advertising industry, and was awarded 2014's "Creator of the Year" during his time at Tumblr. Mona is an engineering leader, a quality champion, organizer of Selenium meetup, an avid blogger and a budding artist. She is a results oriented leader with extensive experience in building teams, establishing processes and delivering high-end quality software. In her 11+ years of career she has implemented and helped teams achieve outstanding results through test engineering culture, adapting best practices across teams and roles. She has worn various hats in her career and currently is the Director of Technology at Dow Jones.

She is an active leader in New York open source community, she has led the NYCSelenium meetup for around 3 years which is now a strong 1350+ members group and also helps people to adapt new technologies via her blog.

Joseph Smith

Currently, Joseph is heading the Design Lab at iCIMS where he is building a best in class product User Experience team. With 20+ years focused in the digital arts he specializes in understanding the end user’s goals and developing strategies that simplify and engage the user while solving business objectives.

His education includes a Master of Fine Arts in Computer Graphics Design from Rochester Institute of Technology as well as an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design from Buffalo State College. He has extensive hands on experience as well as mentoring and managing design teams that include a broad range of disciplines; Graphic Designers, UI & Interaction Designers, Information Architects, Packaging Design, POS, Photographers and Front-end Developers, Usability Professionals and UX Research Analysts.
